Job Summary

Own end-to-end client programs from onboarding to delivery, define KPIs, and manage budgets and margins while shaping multi-stakeholder strategies in PR and marketing for healthcare and life sciences accounts.

  • Account Leadership: Own onboarding, timeline creation, and biweekly client meetings to set alignment.
  • Client Delivery & Relationships: Build trust with clients, vendors, and internal teams to hit deliverables and expectations.
  • Growth & Profit: Track margins, opportunities to upsell, and manage budgets and expenses.

Job Description

Own end-to-end client programs from onboarding to delivery, define KPIs, and manage budgets and margins while shaping multi-stakeholder strategies in PR and marketing for healthcare and life sciences accounts.

  • Responsibilities: Own the success of the accounts you manage, ensuring deliverables, creating strategic direction, and meeting client’s goals and expectations
  • Responsibilities: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, industry leaders, freelancers, KNB vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Responsibilities: Demonstrate enthusiasm in client communications
  • Responsibilities: Offer new ideas and initiatives to the team
  • Responsibilities: Run biweekly and ad hoc client meetings
  • Responsibilities: Own project trackers and update them weekly
  • Responsibilities: Onboard new clients
  • Responsibilities: Create timelines and project trackers for new accounts
  • Responsibilities: Direct account support (PR, marketing, freelancers, etc.) to secure deliverables
  • Responsibilities: Set and influence multi-faceted strategy
  • Responsibilities: Define KPIs for accounts and communicate the status
  • Responsibilities: Ensure scopes of work are on track and on time
  • Responsibilities: Maintain a strong contribution margin per account
  • Responsibilities: Look for opportunities to upsell
  • Responsibilities: Report account standing and deliverable status to clients
  • Responsibilities: Track account expenses and update invoice sheet
  • Responsibilities: Assist with new business research, proposal writing, and presentations as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a marketing or communications field
  • 10+ years of PR/marketing/communications project management experience
  • Strategic planner and effective implementer
  • Ability to maintain and foster relationships with clients and team members
  • Deadline-driven and understand how to prioritize and adapt under pressure
  • Knowledge of best practices in the marketing, communications, media/PR space
  • Collaborative, creative, and cool under pressure

Preferred

  • Experience working in healthcare, heath tech, pharma, and/or life sciences
  • Agency experience
  • Experience with software such as Muck Rack, Cision, PR Newswire, SEM Rush, and HubSpot
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance challenges for drug commercialization and HIPPA
