Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To implement, improve and report on the various marketing campaigns, systems and assets for our organization.
  • Success in this role will be measured on correct and on-time implementation, upkeep and management of all marketing collateral, campaigns and systems, as well as the meticulous upkeep of our database and CRM.
  • Your ability to flawlessly organize, implement, manage and report on the company’s various marketing campaigns and systems so they produce the results expected.
  • Your ability to maintain and build the company’s database (list) and CRM systems with error-free accuracy.
  • Your ability to IMPROVE upon the performance of every campaign, tradeshow visit and social media postings, constantly seeking ways to increase the performance of each activity and investment.
  • Provide weekly marketing reports to the CEO of leads generated, the source of those leads, cost per lead, sales closed, conversion percentages and ROI.
  • Assist in creating and managing various campaigns in the company’s CRM.
  • Assist in creating, updating and managing the company’s social media sites.
  • Assist in implementing weekly prospecting campaigns, both online and offline.
  • Manage the inbound lead cleaning and follow-up process to ensure all inbound leads are qualified, cleaned, tracked and followed up on according to our follow-up process. (NOTE: You won’t be responsible for managing the sales team, but you will assist the CEO in reviewing inbound leads to ensure they are followed up on as expected.)

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the company’s target market, USP and products.
  • Deep understanding of direct response marketing.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write effective marketing copy (basic sales copywriting).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced skills with Word, Outlook, Publisher and Excel. Candidate must be able to work with database files and Excel spreadsheets containing data.
  • Ability to produce ROI reports for various marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to properly format marketing communications, e-mails and sales letters.
  • Ability to create a production schedule and follow it, work under deadlines and on schedule and plan work so that it is completed on time.
