Identify and recommend best practices for marketing processes and initiatives
Analyze business trends to inform marketing decisions and strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive marketing projects and programs
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior marketing team members
Support the B2B Marketing measurement and effectiveness strategy, helping translate Marketing and business priorities into a clear roadmap of measurement questions, analytical needs, capability gaps, and investment decisions to be supported.
Help build a fit-for-purpose B2B Marketing measurement framework that connects Marketing activity to relevant customer, merchant, funnel, pipeline, revenue, and commercial outcomes based on the Marketing motion and business objective.
Support clear measurement priorities and maturity goals, helping determine what PayPal can credibly measure today, where important evidence gaps remain, and which capabilities should be developed first to improve Marketing decision-making.
Translate B2B Marketing questions into analytical requirements, partnering with Data Science to help determine the appropriate methodology, data, assumptions, outputs, and interpretation required for the decision being supported.

Requirements

5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred

5+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing measurement, B2B marketing analytics, marketing effectiveness, GTM analytics, revenue analytics, Marketing Strategy & Performance, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience contributing to a B2B Marketing measurement capability, framework, roadmap, or operating model, including in environments where data or measurement are still maturing.
Experience defining appropriate outcomes and KPIs for different B2B Marketing motions and connecting leading Marketing indicators to downstream customer, merchant, pipeline, revenue, or other commercial outcomes.
Working knowledge of multiple Marketing measurement approaches, including experimentation, incrementality, attribution, funnel or pipeline analytics, cohort analysis, customer or account-level analysis, econometric methods, and other fit-for-purpose approaches.
Ability to help select the appropriate measurement approach for a business question based on available data, customer journey, scale, analytical feasibility, required precision, and the decision being supported.
Experience working with incomplete, fragmented, or imperfect data and developing a clear analytical point of view without overstating the strength or causality of the available evidence.
Experience contributing to Marketing investment scenarios, evaluating trade-offs, or recommending where B2B Marketing resources should increase, decrease, or shift based on available evidence.
Experience contributing to a structured learning agenda and using experimentation or other analytical approaches to help close high-priority Marketing evidence gaps.
Experience partnering across Marketing, Analytics or Data Science, Finance, GTM, CRM, data, or business teams where the information required to measure Marketing impact is distributed across functions.
Working knowledge of marketing mix modeling is a plus but not required; candidates should understand how MMM can complement other B2B measurement approaches and work effectively with internal or external MMM experts.
