Manager, Marketing, Communications and External Affairs

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns and digital content strategies.
• Lead internal and external communications, including media outreach, crisis communications, and executive messaging.
• Ensures all public-facing communications are polished, accurate, and brand-aligned.
• Maintain relationships with media, community partners, and public officials.
• Support external affairs initiatives including advocacy and public engagement.
• Oversee the production of reports, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Track performance metrics and analyze marketing data to inform strategy.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field at a non-profit organization is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
• Strong writing, editing, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with digital marketing platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools.
• Experience working with diverse audiences and a commitment to equity and inclusion.
• Familiarity with media relations, branding, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities and shifting deadlines with flexibility.
• Familiarity with media relations, press release writing, crisis communications, and stakeholder messaging.
• Understanding of how to segment audiences and tailor messaging across demographics and platforms.
