Job Summary

Own cross-platform content programming and scheduling for Team USA TV and digital ecosystems, driving audience growth, engagement, and monetization through data-informed roadmap decisions and partner coordination.

  • Content Strategy and Scheduling: Build and maintain a unified programming calendar, prioritize tentpoles, and optimize windowing across website, app, and FAST channels to maximize reach and retention.
  • Operations and Partnerships: Own day-to-day programming, metadata, and partner communications with NBCUniversal and FAST vendors, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality assets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-platform content programming calendar that supports audience growth, engagement, and monetization across the Team USA digital ecosystem, including website, mobile app, and Team USA TV (FAST Channel).
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive content roadmap that aligns programming priorities with organizational objectives, key sporting events, athlete storytelling opportunities, and fan engagement goals.
  • Determine content distribution, access, and windowing strategies across owned channels to maximize reach, engagement, and value creation.
  • Lead programming decisions for Team USA TV, including content scheduling, thematic programming blocks, tentpole events, and seasonal content initiatives designed to increase viewership and retention.
  • Identify opportunities to expand audience reach through strategic content packaging, scheduling optimization, and platform-specific programming approaches.
  • Serve as the internal project manager, ensuring timelines, approvals, and assets are delivered on time and at a high standard.
  • Continuously improve programming operations through process optimization, documentation, and implementation of best practices.
  • Own the day-to-day programming and scheduling operations for Team USA TV, ensuring an engaging and optimized viewer experience.
  • Develop and maintain channel schedules that balance audience demand, content availability, business priorities, and monetization objectives.
  • Coordinate content delivery, metadata management, and programming readiness with internal stakeholders and external distribution partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, rights management and audience preferences
  • Proficiency with media asset management systems, content management systems and broadcast automation
  • Experience working with product management tools
  • Knowledgeable in content management, websites, mobile applications, and content publishing
  • Ability to develop a strong point-of-view based on data and present recommendations to stakeholders
  • Ability to align stakeholders across various teams behind a project or initiative
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
