Job Summary

Own the social media narrative for a global volunteer-advocacy program, running channels, content creation, reader engagement, and campaigns while taking on special projects as needed.

  • Own social channels across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and X to grow reach and impact.
  • Create and post content including META/Threads/Facebook Reels to energize audiences.
  • Engage readers through blog comments and audience conversations to drive community signals.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X
  • Create/post content, including META/Threads/Facebook Reels on our social media
  • Post our newsletters, blog posts, and job openings on social media
  • Monitor comments and engage readers on our blogs
  • Expand ’s reach and impact
  • Spearhead important social media campaigns
  • With proven success and a positive attitude, take on special projects and new responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to self-direct work and manage independent deadlines
  • Demonstrated interest in the field of marketing, communications, and/or PR
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram/LinkedIn/Pinterest/X)
  • Experience creating META/Threads/Facebook Reels
  • Competence with Google Workspace Tools and Salesforce
  • Minimum 6 months commitment
