Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Global Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor and manage a high-performing, globally distributed marketing organization, establishing the scalable processes and consistent standards necessary for international operations and growth.
  • M&A Due Diligence and Integration: Serve as the primary marketing lead for Mergers and Acquisitions activities, conducting due diligence on target companies and leading the strategic and cultural integration of acquired marketing teams, brands and technologies post-close.
  • Revenue Operations (RevOps) Alignment: Own the marketing contribution to the revenue engine. Work directly with Sales and Product leadership to architect and optimize the end-to-end RevOps funnel, ensuring predictable, scalable and attributable revenue growth.
  • Enterprise Positioning and Narrative: Define and solidify Luminate Data's position as the indispensable data authority in the entertainment industry, crafting a compelling narrative that resonates with C-suite decision-makers at multi-billion-dollar enterprises globally.
  • Driving Communications Strategy: Lead and execute the global corporate communications strategy, including PR, media relations, analyst relations and crisis communications, to enhance Luminate Data's reputation and manage its public narrative as a data authority.
  • Advanced Product Marketing: Elevate Product Marketing to a strategic function, guiding product development and ensuring GTM success for complex B2B SaaS data products and API solutions that integrate into client workflows.
  • Financial and Budget Accountability: Manage a significant marketing budget with extreme rigor, providing executive-level reporting on marketing effectiveness, ROI and attributing contribution to booked ARR.
  • International Market Expansion: Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies tailored for new geographic territories and global market penetration, ensuring messaging and channels are culturally and commercially appropriate.
  • MarTech Stack Ownership and Optimization: Define the architecture and manage the full stack of marketing technology, ensuring maximum efficiency, data integrity and leveraging AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and personalization at scale.
  • Board-Level Communication: Prepare and present compelling marketing strategy, performance and forecasts to the CEO, investors and the Board of Directors, effectively translating marketing outcomes into financial performance metrics.

Requirements

  • CMO/Senior Executive Experience at Scale: Minimum of 7+ years in a Head of Marketing, CMO or equivalent executive role at a B2B SaaS/Technology company that successfully significantly scaled ARR.
  • Global Leadership Track Record: Mandatory experience managing and scaling global marketing teams across multiple international offices or regions, including successful navigation of international regulatory and cultural differences.
  • M&A Experience: Demonstrated experience leading marketing functions through a minimum of 1-2 successful M&A cycles, including pre-acquisition due diligence, brand strategy consolidation and post-merger integration.
  • Proven Revenue Accountability: Must have a quantifiable track record of driving significant, measurable revenue growth and success using Account-Based Marketing (ABM) and enterprise sales motions.
  • Deep Tech/Data Product Experience: Extensive background marketing complex data, analytics, or platform products (not just simple consumer or traditional media products) to sophisticated enterprise clients.
  • Advanced MarTech Acumen: Expert-level understanding and hands-on experience with modern marketing technology, including CRM (Salesforce), Marketing Automation (Marketo/Hubspot/Salesforce) and sophisticated attribution models.
  • Financial Discipline: Demonstrated financial literacy and business acumen, with a strong understanding of B2B SaaS metrics, including CAC, LTV, Net Retention Rate and Magic Number.
  • C-Suite Gravitas and Communication: Exceptional ability to operate at the C-suite level, influencing internal stakeholders and engaging external leaders of major global entertainment and technology corporations.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to define a multi-year brand and growth strategy while maintaining a focus on immediate execution and operational excellence.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
