Job Summary

Own the advisory marketing and agent-relationship workstream for long term care products, translating client plans into tailored concepts while staying current on underwriting, product changes, and carrier rules.

  • Consultative marketing ownership: respond to planning needs, design client-specific scenarios, and drive action around LTC planning.
  • Agent ecosystem and product awareness: build relationships and push LTC, Accelerated Benefit, and Linked Benefit adoption.
  • Compliance and process stewardship: track underwriting requirements, state approvals, and internal policy updates to keep programs in line.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • You will facilitate proactive marketing activities and provide objective, consultative support in response to the planning needs of our clients.
  • You’ll manage sales results based upon suitable client recommendations through case design and sales concepts tailored to each individual client.
  • Build and nurture agent relationships by creating awareness and executing action around Long Term Care Planning.
  • Know the benefits and features of traditional Long Term Care insurance, Accelerated Benefit, and Linked Benefit products.
  • Be aware of new or modified product offerings, rate changes, state approvals, and industry developments.
  • Know and understand core carrier underwriting requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries from colleagues and clients, and effectively communicate with peers and team leaders.
  • Assist with the distribution of marketing materials and policy forms to clients from carrier web sites.
  • Provide App Ease service including scheduling, executing, and delivering clean applications.
  • Stay up-to-date and proficient on all company business processes, policies, and proprietary software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with major in business or a related field, plus two to three years of related experience and/or training, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services field is preferred.
  • Know and understand core carrier underwriting requirements.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services field is preferred.
  • Prior experience selling Long Term Care and Linked Benefit products is preferred.
  • A track record of successful selling is ideal.
