Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute lifecycle marketing strategy across email and SMS—from planning to deployment
  • Build and optimize campaigns and automated flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, winback, etc.)
  • Develop segmentation and targeting strategies based on customer data, behavior, preferences, and trends
  • Map and refine the customer journey to improve retention, reduce churn, and increase lifetime value
  • Analyze performance (GA4, ESP and SMS metrics, etc.) to optimize campaigns, flows, and lead nurturing strategies
  • Test and scale new strategies (A/B testing, messaging, offers, and timing)
  • Monitor industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to keep strategies fresh and effective
  • Identify new opportunities to drive acquisition, retention, and loyalty (including promotions and loyalty initiatives)
  • Report on performance and share insights with leadership to inform broader marketing strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent brand voice and cohesive messaging across all channels

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent years of practical relevant experience
  • A minimum of 2+ years proven experience in D2C email and SMS marketing strategy and execution
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing and customer journey mapping
  • Experience with segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and optimize campaigns
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple deadlines at once
  • Passion for fashion, retail, and e-commerce
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Shopify, GA4, ESP (Klaviyo preferred), SMS (Attentive preferred) and customer loyalty platforms.
  • Exceptional ability to analyze data and understand KPI's, traffic metrics, etc
