Responsibilities

• Draft, edit and maintain a wide range of written marketing materials, including attorney biographies, practice descriptions, brochures, website content and other firm collateral.
• Assist with the development and execution of press releases, client alerts, social media content and other external communications.
• Support website content and ongoing website maintenance.
• Assist with firm events and other marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate and track sponsorships, surveys, legal rankings and related submissions and deliverables.
• Manage multiple marketing and communications projects simultaneously, tracking deadlines and providing regular status updates.
• Work closely and professionally with attorneys, firm leadership and other internal stakeholders.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high degree of discretion.
• Assist with administrative and special projects for the Marketing & Business Development team as needed.

Requirements

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills are required .
• Strong knowledge of AP Style is preferred.
• Prior marketing or communications experience within a law firm or other professional services environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while working independently and taking initiative.
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization and project-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished, accurate work.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, executives and support staff at all levels.
• Professional demeanor with demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with CRM databases or similar marketing technology.
