Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Leasing Manager to lead our property leasing operations with enthusiasm and precision. This vital role involves managing the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. The Leasing Manager will oversee tenant relations, coordinate with property management teams, and utilize advanced property management software to optimize occupancy rates. Responsibilities

• Manage the full leasing cycle, including marketing available units, conducting property tours, and negotiating lease terms to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) requirements, and other legal standards governing property leasing.
• Utilize Yardi and OneSite property management systems for data entry, lease administration, and reporting to streamline operations.
• Coordinate with legal teams on contracts, lease agreements, and legal administrative processes related to tenant onboarding and disputes.
• Maintain excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person, providing detailed information about properties, amenities, and leasing options.
• Handle conflict management effectively by mediating tenant concerns or disputes while adhering to landlord-tenant law.
• Support property maintenance coordination by communicating tenant requests and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Yardi, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law.
• Proficiency in Yardi
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with sales experience to upsell available units and lease extensions.
• Legal administrative experience with contracts, filing systems, data entry accuracy, and office procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to manage conflict effectively while maintaining positive tenant relationships.
• Experience in property management operations including facilities management, property leasing, maintenance coordination, and administrative support.
