Job Summary

Owns go-to-market strategy and messaging for Tamarac and UMP, guiding positioning, launches, and cross-functional execution across product marketing, market intelligence, and demand generation.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develops marketing plans and activities for products, product lines and integrated solution packages to establish, enhance and distinguish the company's position within the competitive arena.
  • Oversees market research and monitors competitive activity.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to generate product / solution-specific positioning and materials that speak to industry / client segments.
  • Develops and executes go-to-market plans, including the development of messaging, collateral, website, trade event, lead generation and client communications for new products, technologies and features.
  • Executes marketing plans and monitors / reports on success.
  • Supports Product Marketing efforts across all product portfolios.
  • Partners with Product, Marketing and Sales leaders and other key stakeholders to understand product capabilities, translating this into consistent and compelling messages across multiple channels.
  • Analyzes competitor positioning and presents competitive intelligence reports, recommending courses of action.
  • Applies broad knowledge of company product capabilities and the competitive environment to identify new ways of positioning company products in the marketplace.
  • Owns external-facing product launch processes for new products / capabilities targeted toward existing and potential clients.

Requirements

  • Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
  • Experience managing or mentoring at least one direct report, or clear readiness to step into people leadership for the first time.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical product capabilities — portfolio management, trading, tax optimization, UMA structures — into clear value propositions for advisor and enterprise audiences.
  • A track record of owning go-to-market and launch processes end-to-end, from positioning through launch to measured outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; a gifted storyteller who can move fluidly between strategy development and hands-on execution.
  • Comfort working with data to define, track, and report on marketing outcomes — adoption, pipeline, retention — rather than just activity.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred

  • 6+ years of product marketing experience, with meaningful exposure to B2B SaaS, wealth management, or fintech; direct RIA or advisor-technology experience strongly preferred.
  • Direct experience with Tamarac, UMP, or comparable RIA-focused portfolio management, trading, or UMA platforms (e.g., Orion, Black Diamond, Addepar).
  • Direct experience marketing wealth management products that are AI-forward.
  • Experience with lifecycle or demand generation marketing strategy.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for research, content creation, or workflow automation.
  • Experience operating through a team or organizational transformation.
