Own the end-to-end video editing lifecycle for aviation content, spanning short-form social cuts and long-form demos and stories, with a focus on 4K workflows and a polished Canon Log 2 grade.

  • Short and long form: own editing for social platforms and core brand stories.
  • Production polish: manage proxy, media, exports, color, LUTs, and consistent look.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok)
  • Edit long-form video content including product demos, customer testimonials, event recaps, and brand storytelling pieces
  • Work within 4K editing workflows including proxy generation, media management, and optimized exports
  • Color correct and grade footage shot in Canon Log 2 (CLOG2), applying LUTs and manual adjustments for a polished final look
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on creative direction, storyboarding, and content calendars
  • Maintain organized project files, media libraries, and asset archives within shared team drives
  • Stay current on video trends, platform algorithm best practices, and emerging editing techniques

Requirements

  • Must provide a portfolio or reel demonstrating both short-form and long-form editing work
  • Interest in aviation — familiarity with flight simulation, general aviation, or pilot culture is a strong plus
  • Willingness to learn our brand voice, style guidelines, and iterate based on feedback

Preferred

  • Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and titling
  • Experience shooting video (camera operation, lighting, audio capture)
  • Knowledge of flight simulation platforms (X-Plane, MSFS) or general aviation
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted video tools and emerging production technology
  • An interest or background in Marketing
