Junior Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Account Managers on client accounts, handle day-to-day requests and follow-ups, and join client meetings
• Write, proofread, and publish blog posts (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace), including image selection and SEO optimization
• Draft and schedule social media content in each client’s brand voice
• Build and send email campaigns (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, ActiveCampaign)
• Assist with boosted posts and Facebook ad campaigns under an Account Manager’s guidance
• Proofread client-facing materials before they go out
• Compile data and format monthly analytics reports, and learn to pull out the insights behind the numbers
• Help maintain onboarding documents, internal templates, and Birdhouse’s own marketing

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a marketing agency or an in-house marketing, content, or social media role
• Strong writing and proofreading skills, with a sharp eye for detail
• Working knowledge of WordPress and email and social scheduling tools
• Basic comfort with analytics
• An organized, self-directed approach, and the habit of flagging issues early and asking for help
• Location and work authorization: This role is open to candidates based in the United States only. Applicants must be located in the US and legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship, now or in the future. We do not sponsor work visas, and we are unable to consider candidates outside the US.

Preferred

• Experience with Facebook advertising is a plus, but not required
