Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct onboarding interviews with clients lasting at least 1 hour to tease out compelling aspects of clients' professional and personal lives
  • Synthesize interview notes into concise PR pitches engineered to persuade journalists to cover clients' stories
  • Support PR pitching process to secure media placements

Requirements

  • Background in investigative journalism
  • Experience conducting interviews that push subjects to reveal sensitive details
  • Ability to transcribe interviews in real-time
  • Writing experience, ideally long-form articles over 3,000 words
  • Desire to tell other peoples' stories
  • Passion for uncovering hidden truths

Preferred

  • Experience with PR pitching
  • Background in investigative journalism
  • Experience conducting interviews that push subjects to reveal sensitive details
  • Ability to transcribe interviews in real-time
  • Long-form writing experience (3000+ words)
