Responsibilities

• The Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience in storytelling content creation and brand communications while supporting the marketing team across the McCarthy-Bush family of companies.
• This position will help create content in a variety of formats — including written stories, graphics, photography, video and social media — for both internal and external audiences.
• The intern will have opportunities to capture and edit video, write and develop content, design graphics, support events and help tell the stories of our people, projects and companies.
• As part of a three-person team reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will also travel to company locations throughout the Quad Cities, so reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are a must.

Requirements

• You’re currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a marketing, communications, graphic design or related degree program.
• You’re a creative storyteller who enjoys finding the best way to bring an idea to life — whether through writing, graphics, photography, video or social media.
• You’re comfortable creating both written and visual content and are eager to build your skills across different formats and channels.
• You’re a self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• All candidates must possess a high school diploma, valid drivers license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
