Job Summary

Lead action photography and on-site media coverage for USA Baseball, while managing archives and cross-department support.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Shoot, edit and upload action photography at USA Baseball's events and games.
  • Plan and execute creative visions for USA Baseball national team media days.
  • Plan and execute various photoshoots for the USA Baseball Official Online Shop.
  • Support the upkeep of our photo archive, including tagging, filing, and organizing assets.
  • Ensure consistent styling vision and to reflect our USA Baseball brand standards.
  • Serve as a primary media contact at all USA Baseball events and assist with game day operations including photography and archiving.
  • Assist with other tasks as directed.
  • Assist all departments as needed for the organization.

Requirements

  • You have proficiency in creative areas, primarily photography.
  • You have proficiency in Adobe Creative Applications, including Photoshop, Lightroom, PhotoMechanic.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
  • You are comfortable with Canon DSLR or mirrorless camera systems.
  • You are flexible and adaptable, willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • You are in pursuit of or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • You can successfully complete a background check prior to employment.

Preferred

  • You have strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • You are passionate about baseball with an understanding of the amateur baseball landscape.
  • You are proficient in all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, X, and TikTok.
