Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Brand Leadership
  • Maintain and enforce brand standards and positioning for Pursuit Spirits, Trial + Error, and the Whiskey Row Visitor Experience to ensure 360-degree consistency of our identity.
  • Guide the visual and narrative direction across digital, print, merchandise, and on-site distillery experiences.
  • Partner with sales, production, and executive leadership to ensure all marketing efforts reflect company-wide priorities and inventory goals.
  • Research and lead the submission process for spirit and traveler awards to amplify marketing and PR efforts.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years in brand management, marketing, or creative direction, ideally within the spirits (distilleries), wine, or hospitality industries.
  • A background working in a creative agency or as an in-house "solo" marketer where they were responsible for high-speed content production.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva for quick projects.
  • Experience managing Meta Business Suite (Instagram/Facebook ads) and a working knowledge of Google Ads, Yelp, and TripAdvisor for local tourism traffic.
  • Expertise in Mailchimp or similar CRM tools, including list segmentation and designing high-performing newsletters.
  • The ability to switch between "distillery brand voice" for press releases and "casual enthusiast voice" for social media.
  • Proven ability to manage a year-round calendar of overlapping events, award deadlines, and product launches without losing track of details.
  • A strategic thinker that can take top level objectives and turn them into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or Communications.
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends based on events and other needs.
