Job Description

Responsibilities

Research academic programs, departments, and university initiatives to develop accurate and engaging website content
Write, edit, and organize website content that aligns with brand standards, user needs, and evolving search optimization best practices, including SEO and AI-powered search
Create visually engaging, user-focused webpages using Drupal while maintaining brand consistency
Collaborate with Marketing & Communications team members on digital marketing initiatives and related content projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related degree or five years of related experience
Exceptional writing and editing skills.
Experience creating digital content for websites or other online platforms.
Ability to research unfamiliar topics and create clear, engaging web content.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Comfort working with content management systems (CMS); Drupal preferred
Strong visual design understanding and working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite software
Strong organizational, creative and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders

Preferred

Familiarity with search engine optimization (SEO) and AI search best practices.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Familiarity with PHP, jQuery and/or related programming languages
Experience in a university or higher education environment and/or a large nonprofit organization
Experience developing and analyzing integrated digital marketing campaigns
Knowledge of customer relationship management systems (CRM)
Strong strategic, marketing project management skills
