Job Summary

Own and drive the referral marketing and business development program to grow census through strategic marketing plans, sales outreach, and relationships with referral sources, while tracking referrals and managing budgets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the referral accounts/the community and the agency to identify and develop new potential referral sources.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly and daily marketing plan based on needs.
  • Maximizes census through effective marketing, sales calls, and public relations in accordance with the Home Health and Hospice goals.
  • Effectively develop and implement monthly marketing plans that are organized and strategic through geographic planning, completion of daily marketing/admission action plans, targeting account assignments, adherence to account assignments, sales call frequency, strategy for account development, and vertical account development.
  • Manage marketing/sales budgets.
  • Track and evaluate referrals.
  • Responsible for ensuring external sales calls effectively.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective families and applicants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in sales and marketing preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare (hospice, long-term care, acute care, etc.) required.

We provide informational meetings to prospective patients, families, and health care providers on Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts and eligibility requirements, and perform same-day admissions when appropriate.
