Head of Product Marketing

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the marketing function, establishing priorities, processes, and scalable marketing programs.
• Develop product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies for enterprise AI and data engineering solutions.
• Lead product launches, competitive research, customer insights, and use-case development.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value.
• Create sales enablement materials, including presentations, solution briefs, competitive battlecards, and demo narratives.
• Lead content marketing, website messaging, thought leadership, case studies, and customer success stories.
• Develop demand generation programs across email, webinars, events, partnerships, content, and selected paid channels.
• Build AI-powered marketing workflows for research, content development, campaign execution, and performance analysis.
• Manage marketing budgets, tools, external partners, and performance metrics.
• Develop and expand the marketing team as the company grows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of B2B technology product marketing experience.
• Experience marketing technical enterprise products in AI, data infrastructure, data engineering, cloud platforms, or developer tools.
• Demonstrated ability to operate hands-on as a primary marketing leader in a lean organization.
• Strong expertise in product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and product launches.
• Experience creating technical marketing content and sales enablement materials for enterprise buyers.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows and execution.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work hybrid in the New York tri-state area or remotely within the U.S. with travel to New York City 1–2 times per month.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.

Preferred

• Experience at an early-stage startup or in a rapidly growing technology company.
• Background in enterprise AI, data engineering, cloud platforms, or data infrastructure.
• Experience serving regulated industries, particularly financial services.
• Familiarity with platforms and ecosystems such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Salesforce and AI tools such as Claude.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or another technical discipline.
• Samples of previous product marketing work, especially for AI or enterprise technology products.
