Job Summary

Lead and build the Product Marketing function at AirOps, owning strategy, narrative, and cross-functional launches to drive growth.

  • Own the narrative and positioning and be embedded with Product.
  • 7+ years in B2B product marketing with launch success that drives growth.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership across Product and Sales.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build Product Marketing at AirOps from the ground up. Define the right processes for our stage of growth, in close partnership with our CMO
  • Own the narrative and positioning. Make AirOps the AI tool marketing teams adopt as a system they bet on, not just a set of features.
  • Be embedded with Product. Go deep on how AirOps works today, our roadmap for where we’re going, and bring insights and opportunities that influence the product direction
  • Drive our launch motion. Own the product launch strategy and calendar, and ensure every launch has a clear point of view, the right assets, and a plan to reach the right audience.
  • Tie launches to a bigger story. Connect individual feature releases to the broader story that creates urgency and helps customers through the change AI is driving.
  • Help AirOps win. Build enablement programs that help everyone at AirOps effectively tell the story of “Why AirOps, and why now”. Anticipate what Sales needs, and work side by side with them to help them close deals.
  • Be the glue across teams. Partner tightly with Product, Sales, and Marketing. You’ll manage up and down with confidence. You’re just as comfortable workshopping our overall narrative with the CEO as you are writing an outbound sequence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B product marketing, ideally in a startup or growth-stage environment
  • Experience marketing a product that can get technical, with a proven ability to translate complexity into language that resonates with a creative audience.
  • Strong judgment on positioning and messaging. You know how to make a story feel inevitable.
  • Exceptional writing. You have writing samples you’re proud of (blog posts, launch posts, messaging docs, decks). Writing quality is non-negotiable.
  • Launch experience that caused true growth for the business. You care more about outcomes over outputs.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, especially across Product and Sales.
  • Management experience preferred. You’ll build a small team right away and scale product marketing it over time.

Preferred

  • Management experience preferred.

Benefits

  • Equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Competitive benefits package tailored to your location
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Parental Leave
  • A fun-loving and (just a bit) nerdy team that loves to move fast!
