Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated consumer performance marketing strategy aligned with Consumer Bank growth objectives and translate business, product, and customer strategies into comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Establish annual and multi-year marketing priorities, investment strategies, and performance objectives; drive innovation and continuous improvement across all consumer marketing functions; monitor trends and identify opportunities to differentiate the organization; define and deliver measurable marketing outcomes including acquisition efficiency, conversion performance, engagement, retention, product adoption, and ROI.
  • Manage strategic third-party vendor relationships, ensuring strong performance, governance, and alignment with business outcomes.
  • Lead marketing strategy for Retail Marketing, developing customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and cross-sell programs; partner with product leaders to position solutions that improve customer outcomes and support revenue growth; ensure plans have measurable performance outcomes.
  • Lead Specialty Marketing Strategy for Business Banking, Wealth Management, and Consumer Real Estate Lending; ensure consistent enterprise practices while tailoring for line-of-business needs; collaborate with leaders to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead all consumer digital marketing activities (paid search, performance media, digital acquisition, website marketing, display, retargeting, emerging channels); optimize investments via data-driven decision making, testing, attribution, and optimization; advance personalization and journey orchestration to deepen relationships.
  • Identify emerging technologies to improve customer acquisition efficiency; lead campaign management and execution across all consumer lines; establish processes, governance, and resource allocation; partner with shared services; oversee vendor relationships and marketing technologies.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and KPIs; lead analytics, reporting, insights, and performance optimization; deliver executive-level insights for strategic decisions.
  • Lead marketing risk and control management; ensure compliance with regulations, disclosures, and privacy; partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Audit to maintain governance; promote accountability and operational excellence.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and investment decisions; evaluate effectiveness and optimize resource allocation; ensure financial stewardship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years leading managers and multi-level organizations.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing performance marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Experience leading large-scale digital marketing, campaign management, and marketing analytics functions.
  • Experience operating within highly regulated industries, preferably financial services.
  • Proven leadership of large cross-functional initiatives and enterprise-level change efforts.
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms, customer data platforms, and advanced attribution methodologies.

Preferred

  • MBA or Masters Degree in a related field.
  • Financial services, banking, wealth management, or consumer lending experience.
  • Experience managing organizations of 30+ employees.
  • Experience leading marketing transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Agile delivery experience and familiarity with Agile tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
