Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Principal-level Growth professional to help grow ustwo's client portfolio through proactive business development. Working in partnership with the Exec Director of Client Services & Growth, you'll identify and engage prospective clients, build strategic relationships, and create opportunities that become long-term partnerships.
As part of our global commercial community, you'll collaborate closely with Client Partners, Marketing and peers across our studios to strengthen our pipeline, share market insight and help deliver sustainable growth.
  • 10+ years experience in business development, growth, client services or digital consultancy within a design, technology or professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and building long-term client relationships.
  • Strong commercial judgement and experience managing pipelines, forecasting and opportunity qualification.
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations.
  • Skilled at identifying client challenges and translating them into commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms, sales intelligence tools and AI-enabled research and prospecting tools.
  • Curious, proactive and self-directed, with the ability to build scalable processes and playbooks while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Partner with the Exec Director of Client Services & Growth to shape our outbound growth approach, translating commercial priorities into targeted account strategies and proactive programs.
  • Build repeatable prospecting frameworks, qualification processes, and playbooks that bring structure to our outbound efforts and scale beyond individual execution.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients aligned with ustwo's commercial priorities.
  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers and identify opportunities where ustwo can create meaningful value.
  • Lead early-stage business development conversations and qualify opportunities before partnering with Client Partners and studio leadership.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, CRM data and commercial reporting.
  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns, events, thought leadership and account-based initiatives that support business development.
  • Collaborate with Client Partners and multidisciplinary teams to shape proposals and commercial opportunities.
  • Develop insight into target markets, client challenges and industry trends to inform growth activity.
  • Explore new approaches, including AI-enabled tools and technologies, to improve research, prospecting and relationship development.
  • Contribute to a collaborative global Growth community by sharing insight, opportunities and best practice.

LocationThis is a hybrid role based in New York City. The role requires regular in-person collaboration with peers and clients, alongside travel within the US and occasionally internationally as needed.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this full-time role is between $155,000 and $190,000. The actual salary amount within this range will depend on the candidate's experience, skillset, market knowledge, and the salaries of current employees in similar roles. We benchmark our salaries regularly against competitive market data, so these ranges are subject to change. 
Full-time employees also qualify for ustwo's Profit Share Scheme, in which the studio group shares up to one-third of operating profits with all employees, subject to hitting certain safety thresholds and targets.
