Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and steward SiriusXM's brand positioning, differentiation, architecture and long-term brand direction, ensuring the brand remains distinctive and relevant.
  • Lead the development of creative strategy and expression across SiriusXM marketing, establishing a high bar for ideas, storytelling, design and execution.
  • Identify and develop integrated marketing opportunities that bring together creative, media, content, talent, partnerships, digital and live experiences to amplify our most important moments and create greater consumer relevance.
  • Turn SiriusXM’s unique content, talent, access and programming into compelling consumer propositions and marketing ideas that create relevance and demand.
  • Develop marketing strategies that broaden SiriusXM’s relevance with new and evolving consumer segments while strengthening the connection with our existing customer base.
  • Lead Media Strategy, defining the role of media within our integrated marketing approach, including channel strategy, investment priorities and measurement.
  • Partner with Marketing Activation & Operations to translate media strategy into effective activation and optimization across digital platforms.
  • Develop consumer-facing marketing opportunities with partners that extend the brand, create distinctive opportunities and connect SiriusXM with consumers in relevant ways.
  • Expand how SiriusXM uses experiential marketing, live moments, fandom and merchandise to create larger, more integrated brand experiences.
  • Partner closely with Consumer Strategy to translate audience priorities, consumer needs and identified opportunities into brand and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Typically has 18 or more years of experience with 9-12 or more years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated success making an established consumer brand more relevant to new or evolving audiences without relying primarily on traditional mass-media advertising or wholesale brand reinvention.
  • Proven ability to turn content, talent, cultural moments, experiences or other differentiated assets into integrated marketing that creates consumer interest and demand.
  • Strong creative judgment and demonstrated ability to inspire, evaluate and elevate creative ideas and execution.
  • Deep digital fluency and experience using digital, social and emerging channels to amplify content, experiences and cultural moments.
  • Experience developing integrated strategies that connect creative, media, content, partnerships, digital and physical experiences rather than treating them as independent disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of modern media, with the strategic judgment to balance brand building and performance objectives and determine channel roles and investment priorities.
  • Strong cultural fluency and an instinct for fandom—understanding how talent, content, live moments and access can create relevance and deeper consumer connection.
  • Strong commercial orientation and a track record of connecting marketing decisions to measurable customer and business outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling and influencing skills, with the ability to establish a clear marketing point of view across senior cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • Experience in media, entertainment, subscription, live experiences or another culturally relevant consumer business is strongly preferred.
