Responsibilities

  • Own design system and asset library to support campaigns and events.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into visually engaging collateral across print, digital, and web channels.
  • Push brand with trend-aware, creative risk taking to stretch messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, college or foreign equivalency in Graphic Design, Communication, Marketing or related field
  • Two years of professional experience in a graphic design role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative design skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and brand management practices
  • Creative and innovative thinking, with a passion for exploring innovative design solutions and considering novel solutions to problems
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative team as well as independently
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines; maintain a flexible attitude and schedule as needed. Evenings and weekend work may be occasionally required.

Preferred

  • Two years of agency experience as a graphic designer
  • Experience working in higher education is a plus but not a requirement
  • Demonstrated evidence of ongoing professional development efforts to maintain currency in graphic design best practices and techniques and for the creation of effective and engaging content
  • Strong writing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.
