Job Description

Responsibilities

Develop and implement an annual grants strategy aligned with organizational priorities and strategic goals
Research, identify, and evaluate prospective funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
Maintain and manage a comprehensive grants calendar, including deadlines, submissions, reporting requirements, and stewardship activities
Collaborate with leadership and program staff to align funding requests with organizational needs, budgets, and program outcomes
Monitor trends in philanthropy, government funding, and nonprofit best practices to identify emerging opportunities
Write, prepare, and submit compelling letters of inquiry, grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation
Coordinate cross-departmental input to ensure proposals accurately reflect program goals, impact data, and financial information
Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, guidelines, and deadlines
Manage post-award reporting, including impact reports, financial reports, and grant renewals
Maintain accurate records within donor and grants management systems
