What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll begin by learning how to operate in a business-to-business sales environment, working directly with business owners and decision-makers.

Your day-to-day will involve engaging businesses face-to-face to understand their current setup, breaking down mobile plans, internet performance, and service structures in simple terms, identifying gaps in reliability, efficiency, or cost, and recommending solutions that improve how the business operates.

You’ll manage conversations through to a clear outcome, building confidence in presenting and closing.

Alongside sales, you’ll start developing management capability early. You’ll support new team members as they learn the role, gain exposure to how targets are set and tracked, and contribute to team briefings and performance discussions.

You’ll also begin to understand how leaders coach individuals, improve performance, and maintain consistency across a team. As you progress, you’ll take on more responsibility in supporting daily activity, helping organise team output, and contributing to overall campaign performance.

Over time, the focus shifts from individual results to supporting team performance and preparing for leadership responsibility.

What You’ll Learn

You’ll develop practical skills in business-to-business sales, customer communication, and commercial decision-making. You’ll also learn how accounts are developed and managed, how performance is measured, and how teams operate in a results-driven environment.

Alongside this, you’ll build leadership skills including coaching, organisation, communication, and accountability.

You should have strong communication skills, confidence in face-to-face environments or a willingness to develop it, a competitive mindset, and a strong work ethic. You should also be comfortable taking feedback and applying it quickly, with an interest in business, sales, or leadership.

No prior experience is required, but consistency and accountability are essential.
