Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day communications for select priorities across assigned luxury brands and cross-category initiatives
  • Develop and execute communications strategies that strengthen brand relevance, visibility and preference
  • Identify and shape compelling stories that connect luxury brands to culture, travel trends, design, wellness, food and beverage, fashion and guest passions
  • Create communications plans, messaging frameworks, media strategies, briefing materials, press releases, interview guides, toolkits and executive-ready presentations
  • Lead integrated project plans, calendars, timelines, approvals, status reporting and meeting follow-up across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner, pressure-testing narratives, identifying reputational considerations and recommending effective communications approaches
  • Guide agency teams by providing clear briefs, consolidating feedback, managing deliverables and ensuring work remains aligned to strategic objectives
  • Coordinate with regional communications teams, brand teams, marketing, social, content and other relevant partners to facilitate strong local activation
  • Identify opportunities to elevate luxury brand visibility through earned media, partnerships, executive visibility, thought leadership and cultural programming
  • Manage communications workstreams for hotel openings, repositionings, partnerships, hosted media programs, industry events and global storytelling initiatives

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in communications, public relations, media relations, brand communications or a related field
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agency partners

Preferred

  • Luxury hospitality experience, particularly across multiple brands or global markets, is preferred
  • Experience supporting luxury, travel, hospitality, fashion, lifestyle or premium consumer brands is preferred
  • Experience leading hotel openings, destination launches or repositioning programs is preferred
  • A combination of agency and in-house communications experience is preferred
  • Experience managing owner, partner or property relationships is preferred
  • Familiarity with executive communications, thought leadership and reputation management is preferred
  • Experience supporting partnerships across fashion, design, culture, wellness or food and beverage is preferred
  • Experience working across global, regional and local communications models is preferred
  • Experience building communications infrastructure, operating processes or portfolio-level reporting is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred
