Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Social Media: Create content for social media
  • Schedule 2 to 3 posts per week on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Respond to comments on all social media platforms
  • Assist the CEO in designing a set of Social Media metrics that monitor user engagement, such as growth, number of clicks, demographics, and social media trends and platform usage
  • Bring ideas to the team on social media strategy and posts
  • Website Updates: Update webpages as needed for events, registration, and student open enrollment
  • Assist in designing new Literacy Coalition webpages that include our partnerships and advocacy
  • Bring ideas and thoughts to the CEO on how to improve the website
  • Annual Communication & Events: Work with the CEO to create a communications strategy annually for Literacy Coalition
  • Participate in designing literacy topics or event-based series for the Literacy Coalition that includes current and past board members, staff, partners, and students
