Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve the global brand governance framework: brand architecture rules, co-branding and partnership guidelines, sub-brand and endorsement policies, and decision-rights models (RACI) across regions and business units.
  • Partner with Legal/IP on trademark strategy, brand protection, licensing, and infringement response across global markets.
  • Serve as a lead representative and liaison to the GE Aerospace Brand Governance team (who own and manage the rights to the GE trademark) and deliver on sub licensee reporting requirements. Assure compliance with the TMLA (trademark license agreement). Forster an ongoing dialogue and relationship with GE Aerospace brand team.
  • Govern brand use in high-stakes contexts: M&A integration and divestiture rebranding, joint ventures, sponsorships, and government/regulatory environments.
  • Be a trusted advisor for the organization, ensuring brand ideas get proper consideration, develop a network that is deep and broad encouraging employees to seek your council. Inspire brand zealots across GE Vernova.
  • Lead the global brand operations function: digital asset management (DAM), brand portal/design system, templates, and self-service tooling that make on-brand execution the path of least resistance.
  • Define and manage brand technology roadmap, including AI-enabled content creation guardrails — governing how generative AI tools are used to produce brand-compliant content at scale.
  • Build and run intake, workflow, and approval processes for brand reviews; establish SLAs that balance rigor with business velocity.
  • Own agency and vendor operations for brand: roster management, onboarding, briefing standards, and performance frameworks. Including GE Vernova’s online shop for promotional merchandise.
  • Manage brand health and compliance measurement: audits, scorecards, and KPIs that quantify consistency, adoption, and brand equity impact — and translate them into an executive-ready narrative for the C-suite and Board.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years in brand management, brand operations, or marketing operations, ideally with experience at global Fortune 500 organization.
  • Deep operational fluency: DAM platforms, brand portals, workflow tools, design systems, and marketing technology including cutting-edge AI technologies.
  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level and operate across Legal, IT, Procurement, HR, and global business leadership.
  • Track record of building measurement systems that connect brand consistency to business value.
  • Exceptional judgment in balancing brand protection with business enablement — you know when to hold the line and when to flex.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.

Preferred

  • Experience in energy technology, industrial technology, infrastructure, consulting or other complex sectors.
  • Chief of Staff or business operations experience supporting a senior executive — planning cadences, executive communications, and strong judgment with sensitive organizational matters.
  • Experience navigating brand in regulated, safety-critical, or government-facing environments.
  • Experience leading and inspiring distributed global teams across time zones and cultures.
