Support The Broad’s social media presence as a student internship, focusing on community management and content creation for Instagram and TikTok.

• Own day-to-day community management and content scheduling across platforms.
• Must-have: Full-time undergrad/associate student eligible by June 2026 and LA County resident.
• Standout: Hands-on internship with real-time event coverage and cross‑department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist with community management across The Broad’s social media platforms, including responding to direct messages and moderating comments.
• Create and curate social media content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.
• Maintain social media features including Highlights and Link in Bio/Linktree.
• Conduct trend and competitor research to inform social media strategy.
• Perform audits of current social media tactics with a focus on audience engagement and content performance.
• Support real-time social media coverage during museum events and programs.
• Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to promote exhibitions and programming across digital platforms.
• Present findings and insights from internship projects and assist with additional tasks as assigned.
• Approach work with integrity and honesty.
• Support and demonstrate the museum’s culture of developing a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible environment for staff, contract staff, vendors, and visitors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in either a bachelor’s degree program or an associate’s degree program. Students must have completed at least one semester or two quarters of college by June 2026. Students who graduated after April 1, 2026 are also eligible.
• Attend college in or be a permanent resident of LA County; and
• Be a United States citizen or permanent resident (non-citizen authorized to live and work in the United States on a permanent basis; also known as a "green card" holder). Students with DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival) status valid through the internship period are also eligible.
• Eligibility for Getty Marrow Undergraduate Interns; Not eligible if they have previously served as Getty Marrow Undergraduate summer intern at The Broad.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 25 pounds; specific vision abilities required include close vision; ability to remain stationary and use repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers while working on the computer; may occasionally bend, lift, and twist.
