Job Description

Drive fundraising strategy and brand marketing leadership for a nonprofit, coordinating with the Executive Director and Board to build a diversified annual fund and growth plan.

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a diversified annual fund development plan with goals and revenue metrics.
  • Establish fundraising infrastructure and operational plan in collaboration with leadership and board.
  • Explore innovative donor engagement strategies including online appeals, house parties, matching gifts, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Analyze giving trends to increase donor levels and identify major gift prospects.
  • Cultivate relationships with local networks, corporations, and service clubs to support crowdfunding efforts.
  • Plan and execute events such as annual auction and awareness events, with new ideas like walks or golf tournaments.
  • Manage fundraising tracking systems and the constituent database in Kindful.
  • Engage the Board in fundraising activities and foster a culture of philanthropy.
  • Provide regular progress reports and revenue metrics.
  • Lead brand marketing efforts, creating assets, collateral, messaging, and brand placement opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, or equivalent work experience.
  • A Master’s Degree or CFRE accreditation is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible marketing and development experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Kindful, OS Soft, or similar donor and client data management systems.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older, with a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Preferred

  • Master’s Degree or CFRE accreditation is a plus.
  • CFRE accreditation is a plus.
