Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling, mission-driven copy for nonprofit organizations to inspire giving and advance causes.
  • Develop copy across a diverse slate of projects, including appeals and acquisition campaigns, newsletters, emails, and digital ads to drive immediate action.
  • Partner with teams on messaging audits and creative strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Copy Director on initiatives that elevate the entire Copy Department.
  • Deliver standout client work and contribute to the Copy Department’s growth and success.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years professional experience writing fundraising copy
  • A demonstrated ability to reflect varying organizational voices and messaging frameworks in copy
  • Strong grammar, proofing and editing skills
  • The ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Comfortable working with AI tools like Microsoft CoPilot and Claude.
