Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to the Chief Marketing Officer
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to champion and elevate the company’s programmatic and aesthetic vision
  • Help ensure Houston Ballet shows up in the world as one cohesive, compelling brand
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans that drive revenue, attendance, and long-term patron loyalty
  • Define new audience opportunities and deepen engagement with existing communities
  • Monitor cultural trends and peer organizations to identify new pathways for growth
  • Develop rigorous analytics and reporting systems to inform decision-making
  • Leverage transactional data, segmentation, and research to refine targeting, pricing, and market positioning
  • Partner with Development to align marketing efforts with institutional patron growth goals
  • Strengthen and evolve Houston Ballet’s brand in the local, national, and international marketplace

Requirements

  • 7+ years of senior marketing and audience development leadership
  • Deep expertise in subscription audience development with a proven track record of driving both subscription and single-ticket revenue growth
  • Experience managing large-scale campaigns and cross-channel communications
  • Strong brand sensibility and exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Experience with marketing research and quantitative analysis
  • Knowledge of social media strategy and digital marketing ecosystems
  • Financial fluency and budget management expertise
  • BA required
