Job Summary

Own and evolve the front end for marketing sites with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalable architecture across Contentful powered CMS and marketing integrations.

  • Front-end ownership: scope, implement, and optimize high-traffic marketing pages with a mobile-first, accessible approach.
  • Platform collaboration: partner with Marketing, Design, Content, and Web Platforms to ensure seamless CMS content delivery and analytics tagging.

Job Description

  • Develop features and enhancements to marketing sites (e.g. merchants.doordash.com , , business.doordash.com, dasher.doordash.com) in a secure, well-tested, and performant way
  • Own front-end web development projects from scoping through implementation and optimization, working closely with Marketing, Design, Content and Engineering teams
  • Craft code that meets internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment
  • Lead front-end architecture decisions, maintaining component libraries, performance optimization strategies, and accessibility standards (WCAG compliance)
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability while maintaining brand consistency and design fidelity
  • Collaborate with the Web Platforms team on CMS integration (Contentful), ensuring seamless content management experiences for Marketing teams
  • Implement responsive designs that work flawlessly across devices and browsers, with a mobile-first approach
  • Work with Marketing teams to implement tracking and analytics code, ensuring proper measurement of user behavior and conversion metrics
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers on front-end best practices and emerging web technologies
  • Partner with Product and Strategy teams to scope major initiatives, define technical requirements, and deliver business outcomes
