Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Front Desk - Greet clients and help create a welcoming environment - Assist with scheduling, client check-in and checkout - Answer phone calls, emails, and social media messages - Process payments and assist with basic cash drawer procedures - Make sure required client paperwork is completed - Help coordinate walk-ins and communicate with artists - Maintain organized client and shop records
• Social Media & Marketing - Regularly photograph and film artists, tattoos, studio activity, and available designs - Create and post Instagram Reels, Stories, photos, and other short-form content - Write captions and help maintain a consistent posting schedule - Promote artists, walk-in availability, events, specials, and shop updates - Stay aware of current social media trends and content formats - Respond professionally to comments and messages - Assist with basic marketing and promotional projects
• Administrative Support - Maintain spreadsheets, files, and shop records - Assist with inventory and supply tracking - Complete assigned administrative projects during slower front desk periods - Help keep daily shop operations organized and documented
• Cleaning & Shop Maintenance - Perform regular cleaning throughout each shift - Sweep and mop floors - Clean bathrooms and communal areas - Disinfect surfaces and maintain front desk cleanliness - Empty trash and restock supplies - Help ensure client and artist areas remain clean and organized - Follow shop hygiene and cross-contamination procedures

Requirements

• Reliable and able to consistently work scheduled weekend shifts
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable approaching and interacting with both clients and artists
• Comfortable taking photos and videos throughout the workday
• Experience creating social media content, especially Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, or similar short-form video
• Familiarity with Canva or other basic content-creation tools is helpful
• Organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities without constant supervision
• Comfortable performing regular cleaning duties
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, reception, or administrative work is helpful
