Job Description

Responsibilities

Attend occasional content shoots in New York City.
Capture social-first photo and video content based on creative briefs provided by our team.
Direct on-camera talent during shoots, including giving simple performance, movement, and positioning instructions to achieve the desired result.
Film primarily vertical content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
Take ownership of the shoot on location and make small creative adjustments when needed to get the strongest content.
Publish content across relevant social media platforms and assist with additional social media tasks as needed.

Requirements

Based in New York City and able to travel to shoot locations across the city.
Comfortable shooting high-quality social content on an iPhone or camera.
Comfortable directing people on camera, including non-professional talent.
A strong eye for framing, lighting, composition, movement, and social-first storytelling.
Able to work independently from a creative brief and make decisions on set.
Reliable, responsive, and organized.
