Freelance Senior B2B / Tech Copywriter

KC SEO Consulting Services is hiring a remote freelance copywriter for our SEO website & our B2B clients - primarily tech, SaaS, market research & business consulting firms. This is a flexible, project-based role with workload that varies month to month.

Our clients are companies that sell technical services or specialized software to other businesses & need writing that translates expertise into clear, persuasive copy…without dumbing it down or sounding like every other SaaS landing page.

Portfolio

Please do NOT submit AI-generated samples. Submit a range of samples that show:

• Your unique voice
• A mix of service pages, pillar / evergreen content, MOFU & BOFU pieces, blog posts
• B2B work in tech, SaaS, professional services or research-heavy industries

Scope

• Average workload: 1-3 assignments per month (varies)
• Project rate: $300-$700 per piece depending on length, research depth & complexity. Longer, research-heavy pieces run around $700-$1200. We agree on a flat rate before each assignment.

What You'll Write

A mix of B2B content for our site & client sites, including:

• Service pages - e.g. “B2B SEO Services”
• Pillar pages - e.g. “How Boutique Consulting Firms Win Inbound Leads in 2026”
• Cluster pages - e.g. “How to Choose a Technical Consulting Agency”
• Blog posts - About 1,000 words, opinion-driven. e.g. “Why Most B2B SaaS Founders Are Misreading AI Search”
• Case studies showcasing measurable client results

Workflow

• We provide the topic, outline, target keywords & brand / voice notes
• You write clear, persuasive copy that follows the outline & weaves keywords in naturally
• You'll work directly with the owner

What We're Looking For

• A confident, human voice, not cookie-cutter agency copy.
• Comfort writing for technical & non-technical audiences (a SaaS founder, or a consulting firm partner)
• Ability to translate dense subject matter - research methodology, automation workflows, technical translation, SaaS product mechanics - into copy a busy founder or manager will actually read
• Willingness to research dense topics
• Reliable, communicative & able to meet deadlines
• Bonus: SEO experience
