Responsibilities

• Write original, well-researched 800-1200-word articles on insurance-related topics (details and topic list provided upon engagement)
• Apply our on-page SEO/AEO best practices, including keyword usage, meta descriptions, header structure, citations, and internal linking considerations, which will be clearly described in training
• Format content using basic HTML as needed
• Incorporate feedback and revisions based on editorial guidance
• Meet agreed-upon deadlines for a project of this scope

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional content writing experience, with a strong portfolio of published online work
• Solid understanding of content SEO best practices (keyword usage, on-page optimization, readability)
• Working knowledge of basic HTML for content formatting
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a writing-intensive field (Journalism, English, Communications, etc.), or equivalent professional writing experience
• Experience writing about insurance and/or personal finance for a major online publisher is required
• Strong research skills and comfort digesting technical or regulatory material into clear, engaging content
• Reliable, deadline-driven able to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with editors
