Responsibilities

• We are looking for a freelance Content Creator who is based in San Diego, CA, and is comfortable speaking directly to the camera and creating engaging content for social media.
• You’ll work closely with our Co-Founder to brainstorm ideas, film videos, and help create content.
• We’re looking for someone creative, reliable, and comfortable making TikTok/Reels-style content that feels natural and authentic.
• This is a contract/freelance role with flexible scheduling based on content needs. You must be located in San Diego County and able to travel to Carlsbad for shoots.

Requirements

• Comfortable and confident speaking on camera
• Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong storytelling and communication skills
• Basic understanding of filming, lighting, & sound
• Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to connect authentically with an audience
• Organized and reliable with good time management
• Must be located in San Diego County and able to travel to Carlsbad for shoots

Preferred

• Interest in tech, AI, startups, or digital products is a big plus
• Experience with social media marketing or brand content is a plus
