Job Summary

Drive healthcare-focused growth through end-to-end GTM and lifecycle programs for patients and providers.

  • Own acquisition and retention across patient/provider/f payer funnels.
  • Must-have: Healthcare marketing experience with cross-stakeholder messaging.
  • Standout: Track record of measurable acquisition/engagement in a startup/high-growth setting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Driving patient and provider acquisition through owned, earned, and paid channels.
  • Building and maintaining positioning and messaging across our diverse stakeholder mix — patients, providers, referral partners, payers, and enterprise partners.
  • Running lifecycle marketing programs to improve conversion and retention across both funnels.
  • Enabling the broader team with the assets, content, and tooling they need to sell and onboard effectively.
  • Supporting contractor relationships and, over time, helping hire and manage additional marketing resources as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Healthcare marketer at heart. You've done this before in healthcare and know the landscape well — how different provider specialties think, how to talk to payer audiences, and how to translate complex product capabilities into messaging that resonates with very different types of buyers and users.
  • Relentlessly resourceful. You lean heavily on AI across your workflows — content, SEO/GEO, creative, research — well beyond basic use. You can self-serve on website updates, work comfortably in analytics tools like Mixpanel, and take a design template and turn it into something polished without needing a designer in the loop.
  • A doer first. You're senior enough to have strong judgment and work independently, but you're not looking for a large team to manage — you want to build and do the work yourself.
  • Wired for ambiguity. You thrive in early-stage environments where the roadmap isn't always clear and the highest-leverage thing to work on changes week to week. You don't wait for perfect conditions — you create momentum.
  • Healthcare marketing experience is required — ideally across both provider-facing and patient-facing contexts.
  • You've built or significantly contributed to go-to-market motions in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • You've got a track record of driving measurable acquisition and engagement outcomes, not just producing content.
  • You're comfortable owning strategy when needed but default to execution.

            Village

The Villages (population: approx. 130,000 residents) is a master-planned retirement community located mainly in Sumter County, Florida, United States, but also includes portions of Lake and Marion counties. The Villages is developed and maintained using several Community Development Districts (CDD). The CDD is a form of special purpose local government available under Florida law; approximately 225 communities in Florida currently use this form of government. The Villages currently operates 14 CDD's. Ten of the CDD's cover the various areas of The Villages where residents own homes, and provide and maintain the roads and transportation paths, storm water systems and structures, underground utilities, curbs and gutters, and street lights. The costs of building and maintaining this infrastructure are paid for by annual special assessments included in the property tax bill. The remaining CDD's provide water and sewer utility services, recreation, security services, fire protection and paramedic services to the residents. The cost of operations is funded by amenity and utility fees that residents pay monthly. These CDD’s also provide for the maintenance of common areas and roadways for the commercial areas within its boundaries. The cost of maintenance in the commercial areas is funded through commercial maintenance assessments. For more infomartion: www.DistrictGov.org
