Assemblywoman Pacheco is seeking a Field Representative for her District

Office in Downey. Under the direct supervision of the District Director and
Chief of Staff, the primary responsibilities will include serving as a liaison

between the district and the Assemblywoman by maintaining an awareness of
and involvement in district affairs and issues. Candidates will be expected to

establish positive and productive relationships with local organizations,
elected officials, key community stakeholders, policymakers, and the general

public. Other responsibilities include constituent casework, correspondence,
and outreach. Under the direction of the District Director, the Field

Representative will be responsible for representing the Assemblywoman in the
community, drafting talking points, making presentations on her behalf, and

staffing the Assemblywoman at community events. The ideal candidate is
required to have excellent reading, writing and communication skills, as well

as the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Bilingual in Spanish is

strongly preferred.

Candidates must have a reliable source of transportation to attend in-person

meetings and events, the ability to assist with setting up tables, the office
canopy, and other equipment for events, and be able to work a flexible

schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.

The salary range for this position is $5,417 - $8,159 per month. Current
Assembly employees of non-returning offices are encouraged to apply. It is

anticipated that the position will be filled at the start of the range, or by
transfer of an existing Assembly employee.
