Field Marketing Representative (Canvasser)

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned residential neighborhoods and speak directly with homeowners.
• Introduce Final Touch Painting and create awareness of our services.
• Schedule free painting estimates for interested homeowners.
• Start conversations and build rapport—you are not responsible for closing painting sales.
• Accurately collect and record homeowner information.
• Track appointments and daily activity using a mobile app.
• Place neighborhood marketing/yard signs when required.
• Follow assigned neighborhoods, schedules, and company processes.
• Consistently work toward individual and team appointment goals.
• Represent Final Touch Painting professionally in the community.

Requirements

• Be available for the required Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
• Have reliable personal transportation to travel to assigned neighborhoods.
• Have a working smartphone capable of running the company's mobile application.
• Be comfortable working outdoors and door-to-door in residential neighborhoods.
• Be physically comfortable walking approximately 3+ miles per shift/day as required.
• Be comfortable initiating conversations with homeowners.
• Be dependable and able to consistently report to scheduled shifts.
• Be willing to receive coaching, feedback, and performance expectations.
• Be comfortable working independently while remaining accountable to the team.
• Be comfortable with the position's 1099 independent-contractor classification.
