Job Description

Untitled Future is seeking a highly-skilled experiential producer to join our team. As an ideal candidate, you are wildly confident in transforming event and experience concepts into reality. You’ve overseen all types of production, built and managed budgets large and small with ease and have a way with managing teams both internal and external to deliver high quality results. At the same time, you’re cool under pressure, thrive with details and fully understand your role in making decisions that keep teams moving forward while providing impeccable client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage comprehensive end-to-end production plans, including venue logistics, staffing, registration, labor, security/risk mitigation and technical specifications
  • Cultivate and manage a diverse global network of specialized event vendors, production crews and freelancers (e.g., fabrication, AV, permitting) to ensure high-quality execution and cost efficiency
  • Serve as the primary production 'source of truth,' ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment across strategy, creative, technical and content teams from ideation through execution
  • Oversee all production logistics, resource allocation, critical-path timelines, and vendor deliverables, proactively resolving on-site and pre-production roadblocks to maintain project momentum
  • Define, negotiate and rigorously manage complex production budgets, including consistent spend tracking and reconciliation, to ensure program profitability
  • Make recommendations for future program development aligned with key business priorities
  • Actively scout and onboard new, specialized production and fabrication vendors to expand the agency's experiential and technical capabilities
  • Serve as the lead onsite producer, directing all internal teams, external vendors, partners and client representatives with authority and composure to deliver flawless event execution

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of proven success producing complex, large-scale B2B and B2C live events, brand activations and global experiential campaigns
  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex production needs and risks clearly to clients, internal teams and vendors (written and verbal)
  • Experience managing multi-city or globally distributed event production teams and vendor partners
  • Expert-level knowledge of all facets of environmental design, fabrication, technical production (A/V, lighting, rigging) and event health/safety/permitting standards
  • Adept at leading the production lifecycle, specifically translating creative concepts into practical, buildable plans and executable on-site realities
  • Desire to work in a collaborative, cross-functional agency
  • Meticulous attention to on-site production detail (e.g., site checks, load-in/out logistics) while maintaining a strategic view of the client's overarching business objectives
  • Proven experience with creative and strategy development processes
  • Superior leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development and managing large, temporary production crews
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace/Office 365/Adobe Suite
  • Extremely well-read in a wide variety of topics (both for pleasure and work)

Big problems require big effort from a lot of people--diverse voices and perspectives coming together to shape new ideas and uncover innovative solutions. But people don't often come together to do this work on their own. And even when they do, keeping that flame alive, letting it burn bright and blaze into a large-scale movement requires a lot of fuel, focus, know-how and support. This is where we come in. We learn from your community. We tell them stories that motivate and inspire. We invite them to contribute and take action. We help you focus that action into results.Put simply, we're not in the event business. We're in the community business. Events are an important part of the way we engage communities. Don't let us steer you wrong on that point. But events are even more effective when they're integrated into programs that tie all of your community-focused marketing efforts together. We're experts in this work, what we call community strategy and engagement. This work is constantly evolving, and we're there with you every step of the way to listen, learn, ideate and respond in ways that drive long term community--and ultimately, business success. Because communities and companies thrive when we stop planning events and start developing programs that offer meaningful value and support all year long.
