Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Community Growth & Engagement Strategy • Develop and deliver a community growth strategy that increases participation, strengthens belonging, and builds meaningful connections across CoLab agencies.• Create scalable programs, forums, and experiences that connect employees across disciplines and agencies while encouraging knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary thinking.• Partner with agency leadership, HR, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to strengthen key community touchpoints, including onboarding, communications, learning, recognition, knowledge sharing, and employee listening.• Improve the resources, channels, and rituals that help employees find one another and participate in the CoLab community.• Build and support a community champion network that surfaces employee needs, amplifies participation, and helps community-building efforts scale.
  • Internal Communications & Storytelling • Use storytelling and internal communications to build awareness and momentum around community programs, cultural moments, learning opportunities, and employee stories.• Create employee-facing messaging, campaigns, and content that reinforce shared goals and make information easy to understand and act on.• Partner with leadership, HR, Operations, Marketing, and agency teams to keep communications coordinated, consistent, and aligned across business units.• Use feedback and communication performance indicators to improve clarity, relevance, and reach over time.
  • Events, Experiences & Community Building • Design and activate signature community moments, events, and rituals that reinforce shared identity across CoLab.• Lead CoLab Unplugged sessions and town halls, including speaker coordination, logistics, communications, production, and post-event feedback.• Manage event timelines, vendors, budgets, materials, and on-site or virtual execution to ensure polished, high-quality employee experiences.• Use participation data, feedback, and post-program insights to continuously improve events and experiences.
  • Community Learning & Knowledge Sharing • Support learning experiences, resources, and forums that help employees build skills and navigate career growth within CoLab.• Create opportunities for mentorship, peer learning, communities of practice, and cross-functional knowledge exchange.• Partner with subject matter experts and functional leaders to identify relevant learning needs and translate them into practical programs or resources.• Help employees access the information and connections they need to collaborate effectively and do their best work.
  • What Success Looks Like • Increase participation in community programs, events, learning opportunities, and engagement initiatives, with tracking by attendance, repeat participation, and representation across agencies, disciplines, and levels.• Improve employee feedback scores related to connection, belonging, awareness of community opportunities, and confidence navigating the CoLab network.• Deliver CoLab Unplugged sessions, town halls, employee events, and learning experiences with strong attendance, positive feedback, and clear follow-up actions.• Grow and activate a community champion network with regular input loops, shared toolkits, and visible participation across agencies and departments.• Improve communications effectiveness by tracking reach, engagement, message clarity, and awareness of key community programs and business priorities.
