Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Bicycle Law Events & Brand Ambassadorship
  • Serve as an active, on-site point of contact for Bicycle Law at races, group rides, sponsorship activations, and community gatherings, representing the brand with consistency, authenticity, and professionalism.
  • Welcome and build relationships with riders, partners, and vendors, acting as a trusted, friendly point of contact on-site.
  • Manage physical setup, staffing, and breakdown of event infrastructure at outdoor cycling events (tents, tables, signage, AV equipment), including load-in and load-out of gear and merchandise.
  • Manage event calendars and timelines, flagging conflicts or bottlenecks as they arise.
  • Manage merchandise ordering and follow-up with vendors and suppliers, tracking inventory and flagging re-orders
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses against approved spend.
  • Community Outreach & Marketing Coordination
  • Build and maintain relationships within the community, including visiting local bike shops and partners on a regular basis to drop off merchandise, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • In partnership with our social media agency, help promote upcoming Bicycle Law events on social media and share recaps through photos and video captured on-site.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, experiential marketing, brand ambassador work, or another client- or community-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including clients, sponsors, and community members.
  • Comfortable serving as the face of the brand in outdoor, high-energy environments, including at cycling and community events.
  • Excellent command of English; strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is essential.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email tools, and Canva is a plus.
  • Cycling experience a plus, but not required.
  • College degree is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a proactive self-starter with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously.

Preferred

  • Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, email tools, and Canva is a plus.
  • Cycling experience a plus, but not required.
  • College degree is a plus, but not required.
