Job Summary
Drive end-to-end event marketing in a regional territory by selecting target shows, staffing booths, and turning event activity into qualified leads for in-home consultations.
- Event Strategy & Calendar: research, plan, and maintain a comprehensive calendar of in-person events and shows.
- Staffing & Training: recruit, hire, and coach Event Demonstrators; ensure coverage and readiness at each booth.
- Measurement & Follow-Up: track event results, follow up with leads, and report performance to optimize future activations.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Research and identify events and shows within the assigned territory
- Negotiate contracts with event vendors
- Plan and maintain a yearly calendar of events and shows
- Recruit, hire, and train Event Demonstrators
- Schedule staff for events and ensure proper coverage
- Coordinate booth setup and teardown
- Generate leads by setting appointments for free in-home consultations
- Collect contest entries at events
- Follow up with leads to schedule consultations
- Track, measure, and report event performance and results
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Positive, outgoing personality
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities
- Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work weekends
