Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support event promotion efforts across digital channels, including email and social media by developing promotional assets for events.
  • Maintain organized records of event plans, assets, and data in excel format. Upload records and spreadsheets to sharepoint.
  • Organize registration and revenue data from previous events.
  • Conduct research on venues, vendors, audiences, and industry trends.
  • Assist with sales reports and comparison chart.
  • Assist with social media where needed.
  • Additional marketing-related tasks as necessary.
  • Key Learnings:
  • Develop and understand SOPs (standard operating procedures).
  • Develop skills around relationships with external partners which includes creating, proposing and following through on agreements.

Requirements

  • Rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student in Sport and Entertainment Management, Marketing/Communications, or similar field.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Canva. Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Comfortable working with data and drawing insights.
  • Self starter.
  • Must be able to work remotely.

Preferred

  • Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred.
  • Having a wide range of marketing interests is a plus.
