Job Description

Event Manager

The Event Manager plays a vital leadership role within the Milwaukee market, supporting and overseeing the successful execution of marketing events for Redo Cabinets. This position is responsible for generating high-quality leads, supporting the field marketing team, ensuring professional on-site execution, and representing the brand at trade shows, fairs, home shows, and retail events.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and inspire field marketing staff to achieve daily and weekly goals
  • Provide coaching and support to team members as needed
  • Assist with event setup and teardown; independently manage smaller events when required

Shift & Operations Management

  • Track performance metrics and report results to leadership
  • Ensure all scheduled shifts are properly staffed and monitor attendance
  • Assist with onboarding and field training for new promoters

Customer Engagement

  • Professionally engage potential customers, schedule free design consultations, and represent the company brand at all times
  • Occasionally work retail partner locations such as Meijer and Costco
  • Maintain a professional and approachable demeanor with customers and staff

Event & Workspace Management

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable workstation at all times
  • Ensure all event materials and displays are maintained in a professional manner

Inventory & Administrative Duties

  • Conduct regular inventory of marketing materials and event supplies
  • Complete and submit all event paperwork accurately and on time
  • Track and manage field expenses in accordance with departmental budgets

Compensation & Benefits

Schedule:
Varies by season; weekend availability required. Schedule provided 1–2 weeks in advance.

Paid Time Off

  • 56 hours of annual PTO (no carry-over; prorated by hire date)
  • 80 accrued vacation hours annually (40 hours carryover allowed; must be used in Q1)
